14 Dead in a Helicopter Crash!
Description
According to the Authorities, several Ukrainian officials, including Interior Minister Denys Monastyrskyy, have died in a helicopter crash in a suburb of Kyiv.
As per Ukraine's emergency services till 18 January 2023 Wednesday, the death toll from the crash near a nursery in Brovary stands was 14.
An earlier report by a local official stated that 18 people had died in the crash.
Among the fatalities were three children. The Monastyrskyy's deputy, Yevhen Yenin, and State Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Yurii Lubkovych, were also deceased in this crash.
The total number of people injured in the incident was 25, of which 10 were children.
The cause of this accident is still unknown. It is still unclear if it was an accident or a result of the ongoing nearly 11-month war with Russia.
Local officials reported that the helicopter crashed close to a nursery and a building in Brovary.
The Russian and Ukrainian officials have not stated any statement on this yet.
To be honest unforeseen situations are not under anyone's control, but a safety app like POTP could have been the best option to save some more lives in a crisis like this. Immediately when the helicopter crashed, if any viewer had sent an alert to the monitoring unit, then it is expected that those victims could have received more emergency and prompt service from them.
