A murdered by two of the guards for stealing miraa twigs

A case got lodged at Meru High Court for two guards allegedly killing a man. He was stealing a few miraa twigs from their farm. Two convicted, Benjamin Kithinji and Bernard Mutura, had beaten Joses Kaiyongi so violently that he was dead. The incident happened at Malika market Diego. After finding Joses had died, the two guards took the body to the mob and invited them to beat him to a pulp with crude weapons, alleging he had stolen miraa. This incident occurred in August 2015. 
As per her report, the beating continued for hours or two. After the Kaiyongi bled to death. 
Justice Edward Muriithi proceeded with the prosecution, led by Brenda Nandwa, who presented two of the convicted in the presence of the witness who saw the lynching. 
The judge also confirmed that the employer Cosmas Kirimi was not present at the spot of this incident. He was not a part of the crime. 
Based on the report of the court hearing Ms. Rael Ncooro said that her husband had given a part of the miraa firm to Mr. Kirimi so that he could afford to pay the hospital bills. She also said that she saw two guards pass by her home at night, and they were heading to the farm. Then they just disappeared from the farm.
My Thoughts
That is one such gruesome murder that needed immediate reporting. The case and the investigation are still on. Like my friend once did when she found her two neighbors entering a brawl over car parking. Their motive seems to be highly suspicious. 
She used the POTP application to make the file a report about the incident. She mentioned that she did a live video call. Based on her location, the concerned authority acted promptly before the situation was about to turn into an ugly thing.
