Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan suffered a rib injury while shooting for his upcoming film Baahubali: The Conclusion!

The 80-year-old actor was shooting an action scene with co-star Prabhas when his rib cartilage popped, causing a muscle tear to his right ribcage. Bachchan received immediate medical attention on the set before being taken to the AIG Hospital in Hyderabad, India.
Doctors advised him to rest and recuperate at home in Mumbai, where he is currently recovering at Jalsa, his residence.
In a blog post, Bachchan shared that the injury is painful while breathing and moving, but he is taking medication to manage the discomfort.
The actor will need several weeks of rest before resuming shooting for the film.
It is not the first time this has happened. 
In 1982, he sustained another injury while filming the movie Coolie; and had to be hospitalized due to internal bleeding in his lower abdomen.
Bachchan reassured his fans that he is available on mobile but is mostly on bed rest.
He advised them not to visit his bungalow, Jalsa, as he won't be able to meet them due to his injury.
The incident caused a temporary delay in the shooting schedule for the film. However, fans are relieved that the actor is receiving the medical care he needs and wish him a
speedy recovery.
