Fire outrage in government building!

On 05/042022, Wednesday afternoon, a fire broke out at the head office of the National Information and Communication Technology Company Limited (iGovTT), located on Pembroke Street, Port of Spain, Trinidad &Tobago. The incident triggered the building's fire alarm. The fire broke out in a room on the ground floor of a three-story building.
According to a release from iGovTT, one staff member was rushed to the hospital for assessment due to smoke inhalation. The govt CEO Charles Bobb-Semple and company representatives are reportedly in contact with the family and healthcare providers for updates on the affected employee. The Trinidad and Tobago Fire Service (TTFS) promptly responded to the fire and was able to quell the blaze. They are currently in the process of compiling a detailed report for submission to
the company. The cause of the fire is not yet known, and the TTFS is investigating the incident.
The govt CEO Charles Bobb-Semple released a statement expressing his gratitude to the TTFS for their quick response to the fire. He also thanked the personnel for keeping the damage to a minimum. He also assured the public that the company would work closely with the TTFS and other relevant authorities to determine the cause of this fire. Again, it will ensure
that the necessary measures are applied to prevent similar incidents in the future.
The fire caused minimal damage to the building as the company assured that all systems and operations functioned normally. The company also said it would update us as more information
