Jobs challenges compel youth in Ghana into jobs they don't love
Description
Ghana is a beautiful place, but when it comes to the education system and job challenges, there are not many choices for the students. I have been staying in Ghana for a while as a part of my job project.
Last year, when I visited one of the Universities in that country, I interacted with a few youths on that campus. They told me that; they would not pursue any part-time jobs available in their country unless necessary.
700+ million people have been looking for work for over a decade. In the African region, this problem is even more. Job challenges have become a concern today. Ghana may have limited job opportunities with low pay. The remuneration is often beyond the taxed economy. The trend of upgrading society is growing, but the citizens of this country struggle to find suitable jobs. Due to this, they are now opting for jobs that can pay for their survival, irrespective of their interests. It is affecting the overall productivity at work and is a complete waste of skills.
My Thoughts
I believe the economy and education system should work together for new strategies so youths in Ghana can choose the job that pays well and of which they want to be a part. A collaborative approach and investment in education can do wonders. Failing to do so can increase crime rates as well. For the sake of better opportunities, citizens of Ghana migrate from their country to others. If you are planning to visit a new location for a job or other purposes, then it is good to have a safety app like POTP. You can get support for specific emergencies. It warns you if you are passing by from any dangerous location. It also has features of live recording, tracking, and crime awareness that send out instant alerts to the agents available 24 hours a day for your assistance. Remember, you are always safe when you install this app on your smartphone.
Also, this app offers an opportunity to earn some rewards. When you witness; a crime, you can record a video and send it to the monitoring unit. In return, they would take necessary action to save the victim.
Your name will be kept anonymous. You will get a reward for your action toward the betterment of society. I got an incentive for this, so I would like to recommend this option to others too.
