Molestration in the Operation Theatre
Description
A woman in her late thirties has alleged molestation in the operation theatre of a super specialty hospital in Kolkata on 6th January 2023. The woman resides in Beniapukur, Kolkata, India. At the Phoolbagan Police Station, she lodged a rape complaint against the Apollo Hospital near the EM Bypass route at Kandapara. The complete area falls under the jurisdiction of the Phoolbagan Police station.
The incident happened when she was hospitalized for gallbladder stone removal surgery. During the surgical process, the woman was given anesthesia which is a normal procedure for all major surgeries. This caused her to get semi-conscious about the manner. Upon gaining consciousness, she noticed to get marks on her private parts. She contacted the Phoolbagan Police station and registered a case of molestation under Section 354 IPC act. Even after four days, there has been no trace of the culprits involved in this matter. The woman has again alleged the police for their actions involved since nothing has happened so far.

This sort of heinous act should be stopped at once. Individuals spend lots of money on getting themselves cured at hospitals. Such an act is a shame to the hospital administration and the employees involved. A complete investigation needs to be carried out by the officials with orders from the Chief Minister of the State. The accused need to get justice as soon as possible! In this scenario, the lady was in a subconscious state when this might have happened to her.
