No one came forward to identify a body lying until cops came there.

Until the concerned authority came, no one came forward to identify the dead body of the man found in San Fernando on Wednesday, 22nd March 2023. The resident of Keate Street made a report about getting a foul smell, and at 3 PM, the police appeared and discovered the body. As per the report, the deceased was stocky and of a dark complexion, based on which the police are speculating that the person was an African. It seemed like he could be in his 50s and was wearing a blue Tee and black jeans. The polices are doing a detailed investigation into this incident. Till now, the police is not able to obtain any concrete information on this.
A forensic report on the incident might solve this issue.
 The police of local will make a public release about the incident if they receive any clue about it.

My Thoughts
A few weeks earlier similar incident happened in our society. A man living next to our flat was unseen for a few days. He was living alone in his flat. We tried calling some of his relatives. We had their phone numbers with us. But we did not receive any information about him. Then some of us tried to break in, but I decided to make a call emergency number using the POTP app. The application connected me with the concerned authority immediately. The police came and broke in and found him dead. Later on, we got to know he died of a heart attack. Out of anxiousness, we do something that might not be lawful. It is always advisable to be patient in such emergencies and act accordingly.
