The body of Oreoluwa Fatinoye, son of the couple murdered in Abeokuta, was discovered in the Ogun River by fishermen on January 3, 2023.

Oreoluwa Fatinoye's parents were found dead in their house two days earlier.
They were reported dead at their residence in the Government Reservation Area (GRA).
The Police Department stated that his parents were employees of a reputable firm. The incident occurred when the couple returned to usher after their New Year's Cross Over service. The investigation revealed that the suspects abducted Oreoluwa along with the family housemaid. Later on the 3rd, his body was seen floating on the river.
The details of the murderers are still unknown. Following the autopsy, the couple's relatives cremated their remains at a ceremony.
