The Loresho residence of CS Aisha Jumwa is robbed with Sh1.1 million
Description
You can blame it on the economy or the government's policies, but the crime rate in Kenya is increasing every day. There was one such incident that I witnessed recently in Nairobi. I was walking in a neighborhood close to CS Aisha Jumwa's Loresho home on February 16, 2023. I saw some policemen investigating. I was informed that thugs robbed CS Aisha Jumwa's Loresho residence of Sh1.1 million. Secretary Aisha Jumwa's Loresho is a Public Service Cabinet Secretary who may have kept some of her expensive belongings from home. Unfortunately, three suspected robbers raided her home and made off with gold jewelry, 1.1 million dollars in cash, and two laptops. According to the police, this robbery happened when the CS was on official duty. All three men were armed with crude weapons and entered the area by cutting the electric perimeter wall. Through the backdoor, they entered the house, as it was not locked. The suspects must have searched the house and later proceeded to the master bedroom, where they stole two laptops and gold jewelry. They even saw her kids sleeping and woke them up. Later, they stole $1.1 million in cash from their room. The suspects could run away with the robbery. The incident was reported at the Spring Valley Police Station, where the investigation is ongoing.
My Thoughts
This whole incident made me wonder: Are we safe at the moment? To end my worries, at least I have installed a reliable app called POTP. It has features like live tracking, recording, and even reporting an incident like this. They have an incredible team of agents available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to assist you.
