Two Double and One Triple Murder Raises the Homicide Count.

A heart-wrecking incident occurred on 28th January, 2023 at Rose Drive, Carapo, wherein seven people were shot dead. As per reports, two double murders occurred in Cunupia, while a triple murder happened in Arima. These incidents have raised the murder counts to 55 within 28 days and terrorized the residents at Trinidad & Tobago. The last happened near Hassarath Road in Cunupia just after 8 o'clock. A gun attack resulted in three deaths. Two of them were shot dead on the spot. The crowd took the third person to the hospital; for treatment, and the doctors there declared him dead.
The homicide investigators came to the scene when three bodies were discovered in a beige automobile at Rose Drive in Carapo on Saturday at around 2.50 pm. A male and woman's corpses were slumped against each other in the front passenger and driving seats, respectively. In the rear seat, a third victim, a man, was sprawled out on the floor.
Residents were unaware of the identities of the victims. As per police reports, the two double murders of two men and two women occurred outside a nightclub in Cunupia at around 1am. It was the seventh murder that occurred in January, which is pretty much daunting.
The CCTV footage revealed a gunman armed with a pistol, shooting continuously at two people standing out at Roxbury Bar. Nearby people ran from the scene for safety. Officers heard the gunshots and responded immediately. Homicide Bureau investigators are looking into the scene to find out more about the murderer.
