get start

Description

A man employed at the Chennai airport as a ground staff member was found murdered by his estranged wife in Pudukottai, Tamil Nadu. The woman, Bhagyalakshmi, and a friend were arrested by the police on charges of murdering the victim, identified as Jeyandhan. After killing him, they reportedly chopped his body into pieces and buried them in the sands at Kovalam. The police are yet to retrieve the buried body parts. Jeyandhan, who hailed from Villupuram, was living with his sister in Nanganallur. On March 18, he told his sister that he was going to his hometown, but he did not reach there, and his phone remained switched off. His sister filed a missing person complaint on March 21. During the investigation, the police scanned Jeyandhan's call records and tracked down Bhagyalakshmi in Semmalampatti. Initially, she denied any involvement in the crime, but later she confessed to murdering Jeyandhan with the help of a friend and dismembering his body. Bhagyalakshmi and Jeyandhan met several years ago in a hotel in Tambaram and got married in a temple in 2020. However, they parted ways in 2021. According to Bhagyalakshmi, an argument broke out between her and Jeyandhan when he visited her on March 19, which led to his murder. She then carried the chopped body parts in a suitcase and a sack and made two trips to bury them on the outskirts of the city near Kovalam. The police is still working on exhuming the mutilated body parts of the victim.

My Thoughts

To protect yourself from any treacherous circumstances, make use of apps like POTP. This app presents a variety of alert systems and GPS-based live tracking during crises. Who knows in this crisis full situation if Jeyandhan would have used this app, he could have been saved.
