A 24-Year Swiggy Delivery Executive Dies after a Car Hits and Drags Him for 500 Meters in Noida.

Another incident of a hit-and-run case came from Noida in Uttar Pradesh, India. A Swiggy delivery boy was spot-dead after a car hit his two-wheeler and dragged him for 500 meters at Noida’s Sector 14 area.
The incident occurred on the night of New Year when the deceased, Kaushal Yadav, a resident of Etawa, was on his duty. A car hit his two-wheeler near a flyover in Noida Sector-14.
Amit, Yadav’s brother, had called him at 1 am on January 2 to know his whereabouts. A local picked up the phone and told him about Kaushal’s accident, the Police said.
According to a Senior police officer, they received information from the Delhi Control Room about the accident near the Phase 1 area, Noida Sector 14A. The man died on the spot. Later he was rushed to the nearby hospital by the viewers. The Police have informed three teams to identify and catch hold of the accused. The locals, who witnessed it, have alleged that the victim was dragged for meters. Police officials are looking into it.
Kaushal’s brother filed a complaint, and an investigation is underway, Police said, adding, “We are scanning the CCTVs installed in the area to trace the accused.”

Road accidents are more than common nowadays. People drive four and two-wheelers carelessly, without obeying the traffic rules and paying heed to the Government’s guidelines.
