Punjab Police Arrested 3 Shooters of the Sonu Khatri Gang in a 3am Raid

Three alleged shooters associated with Punjab gangster Sonu Khatri, involved in various criminal activities in Punjab, were arrested on Monday, (10th January 2023) in Mohane near Kalyan by the anti-gangster task force of Punjab police with the help of the Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) and local Khadakpada police.
The trio - Gurmukh Singh, 23, Shivam Mahatur, 22, and Amandeep Gurmilchand alias Rancho, 21 - are from Shahid Bhagat Singh Nagar, Punjab. According to police sources, the accused were involved in a murder in Punjab last year and were on the radar of Punjab Police.
The Deputy Superintendent of Police Rajan Parminder of the anti-gangster task force (AGTF), Punjab, said the trio had been hiding in NRC Colony in Ambivali since June last year. Based on accurate information, a joint team of the Thane unit of Maharashtra ATS, AGTF Punjab, and Khadakpada police raided the residence and managed to arrest the accused.
“Makhan Singh was shot dead at a fuel station at Kanga village in Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar district in March last year,” said Parminder. He also mentioned that two people involved in this planning are already in custody, and now after this arrest of the trio, three more shooters are still wanted in the case.
