A Goose bumping Incident in the Beginning of this Year
New Year has always brought me good experiences. This time it gave me a lesson of a lifetime. Have you ever wondered how to react to a crime incident that is happening right in front of you? I have never imagined any such situation till January 9, 2023! I saw a chain snatcher; who was trying to run away with his friend on a bike. Fortunately, he was arrested by the Dighar Police in Thane.
Thane has always been a much more crowded place for obvious reasons. Here, the problem of chain snatching over a couple of months has increased. The identified accused, Assu Sayyad is a prime wanted for another case named the MCOCA. To my amusement, he is just 32 years old. One of the known incidents at Gaodevi temple for the chain snatching even had his involvement. It gave me chills to see a criminal just trying to escape; however, simultaneously, watching the Police involved in this case so instantly and resolving it was overwhelming.
My Thoughts
This incident has taught me that if you have a POTP Safety App, at least there can be constant monitoring for your safety. Because people like Assu Sayyad still exist in our society. He may have got arrested, but many are still not on hold. Because of POTP Safety App at least I rest assured that if such an incident ever comes across to me, I can immediately get in touch with the Police.
