A woman got her cell phone robbed at knifepoint in Couva.

Three days before, a woman complained to Couva Central Police Division about a robbery. It was her cellphone. The Central Division of Couva Police is now investigating this. The
case involves a woman of 20 from California who got her cell phone robbed in Couva. While the woman was walking along Balestier street at Couva around 9.20 a.m. on Tuesday, a black pulled up by her side. The victim said that a man stepped out of the car and grabbed her by her hands. The victim is a checker for the unemployment relief program and got her cell phone stolen. The victim said that the suspect put her at knifepoint and grabbed and snatched it. The phone is quite expensive. It costs $14,00. After taking the suspect drove off the car. The concerned authority is trying to investigate the case well
and catch hold of the suspect. Based on the description, the suspect was stocky and was wearing a get vest days back with a jersey that he used to wrap around his face.
My Thoughts
It reminds me of an incident with my friend while I was with him. We were at a carnival when we got encircled by a group of unknown men asking us to hand over what we had and not to fuss about it. They pointed a cutthroat razor at us.
