Barrie Man Arrested After Crashing into Hydro Pole

The police detained a vehicle that struck a hydro pole early morning on January 19th, 2023, in Barrie's east end, Canada. Just after 3:30 in the morning, police discovered the car on St. Vincent Street, north of Cundles Road. Following a collision, Barrie police advised drivers to stay off St. Vincent Street between Cundles Road East and Meadowlark Road that morning. The Police Department blocked the road for some time to clean it up and for investigation.
According to police, the accident caused the hydro pole next to Adams Funeral Home to break. They have arrested the motorist who caused it on the ground of drinking and driving.
On February 1st, he will have to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Barrie. There were no reported injuries. The hydro pole was severely damaged due to the collision, forcing St. Vincent to be closed between Cundles Road East and Meadowlark Road.
The hydro firm replaced that hydro pole soon.
