Bus accident at Kintampo, death toll rises!

A tragic accident occurred between Babatokuma in the east region and Kintampo last Sunday. It is one of the massacres in years. Based on the recent report, the death toll, which was
21, has risen to 23, expected more. A grand bird bus that runs from Yendi-Kumasi collided with a truck. The resident reported that the accident happened at around 11 p.m. It veered out of the lane; however, the concerned authority is investigating more about it more. However, the witness report mentions the truck wanted to avoid the accident and give space to the bus. But there was a car parked which also needed space. Then and there, the accident happened, and the bus rushing from the opposite direction collided with the articulated truck.
The residents have given a hand in unearthing the bodies from a heap of damage. The Police took the dead bodies to the morgue of Kintampo Government hospital.

The drivers of the vehicles have somehow survived. The minister, Kwasi Adu- Gyan visited the spot and expressed sorrow for the incident.
