Crowds gathered to mourn the loss of the decorated soldier "Da Vinci" from Ukraine
Description
On March 10, 2023, I was in downtown Kyiv, where I witnessed thousands of people gathered to mourn the loss of a decorated young Ukrainian military commander known as "Da Vinci." It was a solemn and emotional scene as people from all walks of life came together to pay their respects to the fallen hero. The air was thick with grief as we said our final goodbyes to a brave soldier who had sacrificed for his country. At the golden-domed St. Michael's Monastery, military and civilians mourned to pay their respects to Dmytro Kotsiubaylo, who passed away at a young age.
Many attendees brought flowers to honor the memory of this brave soul. The Orthodox church was packed to capacity, forcing hundreds of individuals to listen in on the ceremony from the courtyard. Following the funeral, a military procession transported Kotsiubaylo's casket to Maidan (Independence Square) for a more expansive public memorial. Last year, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky posthumously awarded Dmytro Kotsiubaylo the prestigious Order of the Golden Star. He was even given the title "Hero of Ukraine" by U. President announced the news of Kotsiubaylo's untimely death during his nightly address on Tuesday. My condolences go out to the families who have lost loved ones serving as soldiers. The family members of a soldier are braver than him as they have to fight against all the odds when the soldier fights for the pride of his country.
My Thoughts
I believe that having a safety app like POTP is essential for such a family is a necessity.
With this app, you can quickly alert officials with just the push of a button if you find yourself in danger. Additionally, if you witness a crime, you can immediately report it through the app. POTP has various features, such as letting your family know if you are in danger, requesting assistance from first responders, and providing information about the safety of a new area.
