He was with his six other friends when he was stabbed and left to die. There were a couple of disagreements among the bunch of friends, of which he was also a part. His family hurried to Team Site 12, where this entire tragedy happened, as soon as they heard the news.

DJ Nyaami managed to share information about the suspect named Carlos, who was behind this whole death scenario. As sources reveal, Carlos and Denis had arguments about some missing drugs. As it got heated, Denis slapped Carlos, but Carlos could not take it. One of the eyewitnesses, Richard Amuzu, indicated that Carlos was not able to find codeine, and the argument started, which led to another. After this slapping session, Carlos took a knife out and stabbed him hard. He then left the room. Looking at the whole situation, the other six boys got worried, but one of them managed to get some help. Denis's mom also revealed that she was shocked to hear the news and immediately rushed to the site, where she saw her son lying in the blood pool. The knife was also in his body. After this whole incident, Carlos got arrested.
