Ghanaian-American Woman Shot Dead In New Jersey!

A Ghanaian-American councilwoman was reportedly shot dead in her car in New Jersey on Thursday, February 1st,2023. As per Middlesex County Official reports, the woman named Eunice Dwumfour, aged 30 was found dead by the police with multiple gunshot wounds. At the time of the shot, she was inside the car near her house. After shooting the lady, the culprits took the car off down the road and bashed it with several parked vehicles.
The police officials reported that Eunice was the intended target. However, the clear motive is yet to be known. Eunice Dwumfour was a part-time EMT and business analyst. She was elected a member of the Borough Council in 2021. The Mayor of Sayreville, Victoria Kilpatrick, exclaimed that the entire community was saddened and shocked at the incident.
Further reports on the incident suggested that even after the strict gun laws in the country, the Sayreville community was greatly shocked at this despicable criminal act. So far, there have been no arrests. Nevertheless, the New Jersey State Police are investigating and have urged anyone with information to contact the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office or Sayreville Police. Her colleagues and friend remembered Eunice as a hard-working woman and dedicated council member. Such an incident left her near and dear ones with shock and grief.
