The crime reports surge in the USA raises concerns. Public safety and crime are common issues in the limelight of different midterm races across the whole nation.  The cities where crime is at its peak are New York, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.

The spike in crime scenes post-pandemic has shaken the entire country. According to the FBI report, the number of homicides has increased by 4.3% nationally, while the rate of murder crimes has risen to 40%. 

Major US cities have had different programs for safety since the 1990s, but there has been a sharp spike in murders over the past few years. Although some of the biggest cities are known for high violent crime rates, some cities show an increase in murders has slowed down. Cities with a high rate of violent crime are Texas, Arkansas, and Oklahoma. 
In the report submitted by the FBI, Texas holds the worst record of murder, with a sharp rise from 2019 to 2020. 
Arkansas also witnessed a spike in violent crimes in the same year. 
 Atlanta had the most reported homicides. 
The possibilities behind the increased rates: One reason for the increase in people entering a crime scene is the risk of contaminating the evidence. Most cities in America are grappling with gun violence every year, while other rates of crime are higher, especially during the elections.
 The USA is undoubtedly the best country to explore, but with the surging crime rates, it is better to take security measures. I often visit this country for my work.
