The nuclear plant has regained power following a series of attacks unleashed by Russia throughout Ukraine

According to Ukrainian officials, a barrage of drone and missile strikes on March 10, 2023, launched by Russia overnight, pounded Kyiv and other major cities in Ukraine. Air raid sirens blared across much of the country during the early hours, signaling the attack. The leader of Ukraine's military stated Russia had fired 81 missiles into Ukrainian territory, including six "kinzhal" hypersonic missiles, which the Ukrainian air force is incapable of intercepting. Several explosions in Kyiv caused damage to the energy infrastructure and left several civilians injured. In his latest update on Telegram, Klitschko reported that emergency power outages resulting from the missile strike left 40% of the capital's population without heating.
Drone and missile strikes targeted Ukrainian cities during the overnight attacks. Odesa, a southern port city, Lviv in the west, and Kharkiv in the northeast are all reported attacks. In the Dnipro area, a regional official confirmed significant damage to energy infrastructure and industrial enterprises due to this shelling, causing several fatalities in Lviv and Dnipro.
